About The Position

As a Senior AI Data Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the data strategy and architecture of next-generation finance platforms powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. You’ll design and implement innovative, enterprise-grade data solutions that drive insights, scalability, and business value. Working cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business leaders, you’ll ensure that the data ecosystem supports advanced analytics and AI integration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer with architectural responsibilities.
  • Proven background in the finance domain and big data integration & analytics (3+ years).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Databricks, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
  • Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML workflows into data platforms (3+ years).
  • Proficiency with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • GCP certification is required; additional finance-related technical certifications are a plus.
  • Passion for using data and AI to drive better business and consumer experiences.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet (25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures using Delta Lakehouse, Star Schema, and Data Lake patterns.
  • Define and enforce data modeling standards, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
  • Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks Workflows, Apache Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines and ensure efficient, scalable deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Drive CI/CD practices for data infrastructure, including Git-based version control and automated testing.
  • Provide architectural guidance for Azure, GCP, and other cloud environments.
  • Stay current with emerging data and AI technologies to recommend strategic improvements.
