About The Position

Protiviti is looking for a Senior AI Cloud Developer to join our growing Artificial Intelligence Innovation team. The Senior AI Cloud Developer will be part of Protiviti’s AI Studio. They will play a pivotal role in envisioning “the art of the possible” with AI, transforming abstract concepts into tangible solutions for clients. They will be responsible for developing and showcasing demonstrations and prototypes that address real-world challenges, ensuring that clients can see the practical applications and benefits of AI firsthand. Through experimentation and prototyping iteration, they will create repeatable industry solution accelerators that not only solve immediate business problems but also pave the way for scalable future implementations.

Requirements

• Experience with or understanding of: Cloud-based development practices and understanding of cloud computing principles.
• Cloud services and infrastructure with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Applying cloud platform security features (e.g., encryption, identity and access management, secure API integrations) to ensure AI applications adhere to enterprise and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying and addressing security or privacy considerations during development and proactively collaborating with security stakeholders to validate implementation.
• Programming languages for AI development, including Python
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., (Computer Science or related field).
• 2+ years working designing and deploying cloud-based technology solutions, ideally incorporating AI-ML or advanced analytics capabilities.
• Experience working in the energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence technology experimentation and/or prototyping.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud-based AI technologies and platforms strongly preferred.
• Professional Certification such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner or Azure AI Engineer Associate are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating AI-enabled prototypes and demonstrations, continuously building and iterating on prototypes to create an extensive portfolio of AI application starters to real-world business problems.
• Delivering AI and cloud solutions for clients in the Energy sector, incorporating industryspecific standards, data requirements, and operational constraints.
• Implementing required security and privacy controls when developing AI-enabled prototypes, including proper data handling, masking/anonymization, and secure storage based on defined standards.
• Executing security-related tasks such as integrating authentication, enforcing role-based access, and configuring secure data pipelines as part of delivering production-ready AI solutions.
• Documenting security-relevant design decisions, data flows, and privacy considerations to support Responsible AI practices and audit transparency.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop functional prototypes to validate feasibility and applicability of AI technologies to practical use cases and challenges.
• Fostering innovation by identifying new AI technologies or methodologies that can enhance current processes or solve new challenges.
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs, translating these requirements into technical specifications for AI-enabled technology solutions.
• Working closely with AI solution architects, engineers and data scientists to transition and scale AI-ML prototypes into operational solutions/models.
• Evaluating AI solutions for adherence to Responsible AI Principles, familiarity with templates such as the Microsoft Responsible AI Framework preferred.
