About The Position

The team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management processes for IC data custodians. These products enable the capture of essential information and approvals required to move data throughout the customer’s mission space in a compliant and traceable manner. They play a critical role in standardizing and streamlining data movement, supporting data reuse, and facilitating integration with downstream tools. The TTO is executed from the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible working hours. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, drafting engineering documents. The candidate will lead system requirements analysis, design, and development activities; guide users in requirements formulation; provide recommendations on alternative technical approaches. This role serves as the primary technical authority for integrating requirements, design, and technology.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance required
• 20 years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical direction for an Agile development team.
• Duties will include: engineering, integration and testing of all components of systems to include requirements analysis and functional allocation, conducting requirement reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessments
• Demonstrated ability to write system engineering documentation and be able to deliver technical presentations to large audiences
• Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short- and long-term requirements
• Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, proactive and outgoing
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse workforce and excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Experience organizing and facilitating Sprint Planning using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Nice To Haves

• Experience/knowledge of Feature Mapping is highly desired
