About The Position

The Senior Affera EP Mapping Specialist at Medtronic is responsible for providing technical, clinical, and sales support for the EP mapping and navigation system within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and key stakeholders to promote the adoption of CAS products, educate healthcare professionals, and develop customer relationships to drive sales growth. The position requires a strong background in cardiac mapping and navigation, along with the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
  • Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

Nice To Haves

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with a minimum of four years work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
  • Understand and support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
  • Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
  • Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.
  • Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.
