About The Position

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will lead technical teams to execute scope for our USG customers. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact our relationship with USG customers and enable integration and launch of their payloads. Requirements

  • B.S. in engineering field
  • 8+ years managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paces programs/projects.
  • 5+ years industry experience with launch systems or satellite operations.
  • Ability to travel within U.S. and abroad.

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret clearance with current SSBI & SCI eligibility.
  • Experience with space vehicle to launch vehicle integration.
  • Experience working with government customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer facing technical projects, including risk mitigation efforts, to integrate customer payloads on New Glenn, from proposal through completion.
  • Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets (labor and non-labor) to achieve Blue Origin business goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with technical engineering and launch site operations to ensure successful integration/execution of customer requirements/expectations.
  • Support business development opportunities for new and existing customers leading to new/follow on services.
