About The Position
As a Senior Advisor, Penetration Testing within the Dell Security & Resiliency organization, you will play a crucial role in managing security risks across all aspects of Dell's business. This position is pivotal as we experience significant growth to meet the security needs of one of the world's largest technology companies. With team members located in over 15 countries, you will have the opportunity to influence the security culture at Dell and further develop your career. Your work will not only contribute to the security posture of the organization but also have a profound social impact. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, communicating, coordinating, and performing adversarial simulations (Red Teaming), security assessments, and penetration tests on various company products and services, applications, systems, facilities, and the enterprise as a whole. You will conduct and participate in authorized penetration testing exercises, reporting on and prioritizing issues to vendors, the security team, and engineering. Your participation in red and purple team operations will involve collaborating with the blue team to identify collaborative testing opportunities, utilizing threat intelligence, vulnerability management data, and business priorities to measure risk and build exercise plans and objectives. You will generate reports and present findings to executives and other stakeholders, ensuring that security assessments are clear and actionable. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external supporting groups to clarify technical conflicts on security assessments, communicate new developments and lessons learned to team members and leadership, and contribute to the development of cybersecurity strategy, policy, standards, and procedures. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining tools and techniques for adversarial simulation, vulnerability research, and exploit development, while continuously upgrading your knowledge and skills in cybersecurity technologies. Your technical expertise will be essential in integrating information security controls into enterprise environments to comply with established security standards and policies, advising on all areas of security technology.
