About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Infrastructure team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Pittsburg. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As Marsh Risk accelerates growth in the dynamic and rapidly expanding digital infrastructure ecosystem—including data centers, cloud hosting, and enabling technologies — we are seeking a Senior Advisor and Contracting Leader for Digital Infrastructure, to drive strategic growth, deepen client relationships, and deliver innovative contracting and risk solutions across the digital infrastructure ecosystem. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and centers of influence (COIs), leveraging deep expertise in contracts, risk management, and project development to support complex digital infrastructure investments. The position is highly relationship-driven and externally focused, with a strong emphasis on client acquisition, client retention, and expanding Marsh’s Digital Infrastructure value proposition through close collaboration with Marsh Specialty, Industry practices, and the full spectrum of Marsh operating companies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required; admission to a state bar preferred but not required
• Significant legal experience in digital infrastructure, project development, contracting, risk management, or related advisory roles.
• Deep knowledge of complex contracts, risk allocation frameworks, and commercial structures within infrastructure and technology-enabled assets.
• Strong relationships with Private Equity sponsors, Investment Banking professionals, General Counsels, and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in client acquisition, relationship management, and retention within a professional services environment.
• Ability to influence senior decision-makers and operate as a trusted advisor.
• Proven capability to develop innovative, tailored solutions in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on contracting, risk allocation, and project development across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, including data centers, fiber, towers, edge, and emerging technologies.
• Advise clients on complex contractual, commercial, and risk management issues throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Design and deliver innovative, client-specific solutions focused on contract management, risk optimization, and risk transfer
• Leverage and expand established relationships with key Centers of Influence (COIs) and buyers, including Private Equity firms, Investment Banks, and General Counsels.
• Develop new strategic relationships to support client acquisition and expand Marsh’s presence in the digital infrastructure market.
• Represent Marsh as a senior advisor and market leader in digital infrastructure risk and contracting.
• Strengthen existing client relationships through high-impact advisory support and integrated service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to deepen engagement and grow revenue by aligning Marsh capabilities with client needs.
• Maintain a strong focus on long-term client retention and value creation.
• Amplify the Marsh Digital Infrastructure value proposition by coordinating expertise across Marsh Specialty, Industry verticals, and operating companies.
• Collaborate with brokers, advisors, and specialists to deliver holistic, differentiated solutions.
• Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, market insights, and best practices related to digital infrastructure contracting and risk management.
