About The Position

As a Senior Advisor, Business Strategies within the Distribution Planning and Performance Department, you play a strategic and influential role in shaping how the organization evolves and performs. With deep expertise in business models, organizational structures, governance, and strategic planning, you lead transformative initiatives that streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and drive enterprise-wide impact. Your work requires rigorous analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional communication skills, enabling you to guide senior leaders, support governance bodies, and foster alignment across diverse stakeholders. As a specialized advisor, subject matter expert, and trusted coach, you strengthen strategic execution and ensure the organization is equipped to achieve its most ambitious goals.Your portfolio spans strategic planning, budget, governance, and executive communications. More specifically, you will be required to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
  • Advanced proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Intermediate knowledge of Telephony
  • Intermediate knowledge of workforce planning
  • Intermediate knowledge of large-scale call center
  • Action oriented, Complexity, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning, Strategic mindset, Vision and purpose

Responsibilities

  • Advise your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Represent your unit before decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
