About The Position
As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell International, Inc. in Atlanta, GA, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating highly complex software applications. This position requires you to be an active and integral member of a team, working collaboratively to achieve project goals. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, starting from customer interaction and requirement elaboration to prototyping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Your work will be conducted within an agile development framework, collaborating closely with other senior developers in the team to generate innovative solutions to complex problems and opportunities. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in software engineering to create robust applications that meet the needs of our customers. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of security access control, video, and intrusion domain knowledge, as well as your hands-on experience with technologies such as C#, .Net core, SQL Server, and Azure. Additionally, you will utilize your understanding of industry-specific protocols and standards, including OBIX, ONVIF, and PSIA, to ensure that the software solutions you develop are compliant and effective. Your leadership skills will be essential as you guide different teams technically across various geographical locations, translating customer requirements into actionable technical specifications and supporting customers in troubleshooting field issues.
