Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
About The Position
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting cost estimation, new product launch and leading standardization and innovation initiatives. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Interface with industrial engineering team to determine equipment requirements Write technical purchasing specifications for custom assembly equipment Project management of equipment from planning to installation Develop & maintain documentation of standards for key equipment. Requirements
- >5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
- Project management
- Technical writing
- AutoCad Lt / 2D
- Experience with assembly equipment; build pallets, conveyors, end of line testers etc
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail
- Must have high sense of urgency
Nice To Haves
- Experience in JIT seating or automotive
- Experience with industrial control systems such as PLC
- Define assembly process
- Engineering / process change control
- MOST trained
- Line balancing
- Standard work instructions
- APQP
- PFMEA
