The Senior Admissions Counselor is responsible for the oversight of Boise State programming and events. This position will assist and support Admission Counselors with overall event management and logistics to ensure they move projects from planning to completion. Additionally they will create and evaluate surveys, reports and data to assess event effectiveness and distribute results to key stakeholders and staff to improve overall campus visitor experience. This position is often the first point of contact with future students and families, which requires extensive knowledge of university staff, academic and student life programs, and policies, as well as a positive attitude and commitment to higher education. Additionally, the Senior Admissions Counselor position is also responsible for all primary Admissions Counselor responsibilities which could include, but is not limited to, promoting Boise State to prospective students and families through individual advising appointments, territory management, recruitment travel, communication, recruitment events, and presenting to small and large groups. About this Role: This position provides leadership in advancing Boise State’s enrollment goals by supervising Admissions Counselors and supporting data-informed recruitment strategies. The role collaborates closely with the Admissions Recruitment Team to plan and deliver high-quality events and recruitment efforts that support prospective students throughout the enrollment process.
