About The Position

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c). Our success is driven by our people. Position Summary We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Senior Administrative Assistant to support key business operations, day to day communications, and team coordination activities. This role requires a strong blend of traditional administrative expertise (calendar, travel, and expense support) along with project management, team collaboration, and event planning skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and an ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred
  • 6–8 years of administrative support experience in a corporate environment, preferably in a life sciences setting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing executive calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Concur strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for offsite meetings and events.
  • This role will require 3 days per week onsite in Conshohocken, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, prioritize and schedule meetings (internal and external), and anticipate scheduling needs across time zones.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports (using Concur).
  • Serve as an operational extension of the team, helping to manage communications, ensure alignment around key activities, and support execution across the span of delegation.
  • Support internal communications and team collaboration by capturing input and turning team-building or planning discussions into tangible outputs and action steps.
  • Assist in coordinating and planning cross functional team meetings, workshops, and events—including offsite logistics, venue selection, agendas, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain department files, records, and shared resources with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and reinforce adherence to internal processes, policies, and key deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure continuity, support cross-functional efforts, and drive cohesion across departments.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute presentations, spreadsheets, memos, and meeting notes as needed.
  • Provide support for small-scale projects as assigned, including status tracking and stakeholder coordination.
