About The Position

MTSI is seeking a Senior Scheduler with a strong background in USAF Acquisition Program support. The Scheduler will be responsible for working with Program Mangers, Engineers, Test Managers, and Logisticians to develop early integrated master schedules (IMS) supporting the acquisition lifecycle of classified air vehicles and air vehicle subsystems. The Schedular will be responsible for updating the IMS based on programmatic events and decisions. The Scheduler will provide reviews and support briefing the schedule to program integrated product teams, program office leadership, vendors, and senior US Air Force and foreign nation stakeholders. This position is a hybrid (partial remote and partial in office) work environment. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This position is 100% on-site with limited ability to telework. Requirements

  • 10 years of experience with a MA/MS degree or 18 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree directly related to the above responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS project
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and/or organize high level integrated master schedules on a daily basis in accordance with the requirements or needs of the necessary stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.
  • Ensure accuracy of project schedules and performed version control.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.
  • Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date.
  • Maintain project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects.
  • Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.
  • Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.
  • Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved.
  • Rectify and/or reconcile differences and inaccuracies that are received from multiple customers.
  • Maintain different reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and timely.
  • Data entry functions including integrating information into required reports.
  • Prepare correspondence per standard Government formats; (both classified and unclassified); management and operation of facsimile, printing and copying equipment; and supplies and equipment ordering.
  • Assist with writing end-of-week reports, monthly activity reports, bi-monthly reports.
  • Support in the planning, preparation, editing, creation, and publication of finished products, e.g., program documentation, plans, directives, reports, briefings and other presentations, as required (technical and non-technical; classified and unclassified) in the media and format requested.
  • Assist in verifying checklists against current administrative and organizational processes, and assist in maintenance of a tracking system for identification and correction of deficiencies.
  • Serve as the initial focal point for collecting and visually displaying materials for staff meetings and office organized information exchange meetings.
  • Files management.
