About The Position

Senior Acquisition Program Manager Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior AcquisitionProgram Manager in to directly support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) which is located at Hanscom AFB, MA. THe HNI Division focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA SALARY RANGE: $125 - 140,000 depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications JOB STATUS: Full-Time; salaried

Requirements

Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Must be a US citizen.
Must have an active US security clearance.

Responsibilities

Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101
Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
