About The Position

The Senior Acquisition Policy Analyst will lead analytical and policy modernization tasks in support of federal acquisition initiatives. This role is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and improving acquisition policies, ensuring alignment with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Education Department Acquisition Regulation (EDAR). The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, EDAR).
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex policy requirements into actionable guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Business, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant acquisition policy or compliance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • DAWIA certification preferred.
  • DOD clearance, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct policy reviews, gap analysis, and develop recommendations.
  • Draft updated acquisition policies, procedures, and templates.
  • Support rulemaking processes, including NPRM drafting and clearance.
  • Coordinate stakeholder input and incorporate feedback.
  • Support Department-wide acquisition lifecycle framework development.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit Monthly Status Reports on a regular basis, as required.
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
