About The Position

Provide expert acquisition management services to support the client's mission. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in acquisition strategy development, milestone review facilitation, acquisition reporting, and portfolio integration. In this position, the candidate will also assist program managers in their program office duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel (10%-25%).
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Program and Acquisition Management.
  • Proficiency in government-standard software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, PMRT, PDAA, EDA, Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaRS).
  • Master's Degree required.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, collect, and organize cost, schedule, performance, and programmatic acquisition data to support program planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain program Acquisition Strategy (AS) documents, white papers, briefings, and media releases.
  • Manage and update acquisition information databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Correlate program data with established baselines to develop, maintain, and review acquisition reports, including the Monthly Acquisition Report, Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive Summary, and Acquisition Program Baseline.
  • Provide clear, concise, and technically accurate written and verbal communication.
  • Draft program overviews, executive summaries, and milestone reports, capturing major program issues, contract details, program status, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with acquisition program baseline thresholds, track budget alignment, and maintain program documentation for logistics, test and evaluation, and requirements readiness.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation for milestone and major program reviews by senior acquisition officials.
  • Develop reports, white papers, and briefings for key stakeholders, ensuring thorough review and proper staffing through all necessary offices.
  • Provide detailed analysis, data-driven justifications, and actionable recommendations to the Government.
  • Maintain continuity of key acquisition documents to support policy, milestone decisions, and strategic objectives.
  • Support portfolio management by providing recommendations for acquisition alignment, resource allocation, and funding strategies.
  • Maintain and analyze acquisition forecasts, identifying discrepancies and ensuring consistency across contract efforts, milestones, and key decision points.
