About The Position

The Senior Accounting Manager owns and leads core accounting operations, including the monthly close, general ledger integrity, and accounting system administration. This role is responsible for developing and managing a team of six professionals across accounting, accounts payable, and payroll functions. Monthly responsibilities include review of ~150 journal entries and oversight of ~75 balance sheet account reconciliations. The role also provides consolidation-related support involving international subsidiaries in Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who operates independently, partners effectively with cross-functional leaders, and drives continuous improvement across accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years accounting experience
• 2+ years management experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• ERP experience
• Payroll system familiarity
• BI tools experience
• Strong leadership
• Attention to detail
• Excel proficiency
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
