About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead complex technical accounting initiatives with a focus on acquisitions, divestitures, and policy governance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor on technical accounting matters, develop and maintain global accounting policies, and lead the adoption of new standards. In addition, this position will partner cross-functionally to support transactions, deliver consolidated cash flow reporting, and perform impairment testing. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of managing and executing acquisition accounting and integration efforts like policy alignment cross-functionally.
  • Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting and internal controls.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional projects that balance compliance with efficiency and business impact.
  • Proven analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Drives projects strategically (big-picture thinking, influence direction) and operationally (hands-on execution).
  • Thrives in ambiguity and is a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting for acquisitions and divestitures, including purchase price allocation, consolidation, and post-close adjustments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex technical accounting issues, providing guidance to finance and business teams.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies aligned with U.S. GAAP and company standards; ensure consistent application across global operations.
  • Monitor and interpret new accounting standards and assess impact on company financial statements.
  • Lead implementation planning of new accounting standards and partner with internal stakeholders through execution.
  • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities in technical accounting workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and business units during transactions and policy changes.
  • Support ad hoc centralized project-based deliverables including consolidated quarterly cash flow reporting and impairment testing.
