About The Position

KVC is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, grant management, and budget analysis. The position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work onsite in Olathe, KS, and transition to 3 days remote per week after training. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience (healthcare industry experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Dynamics finance systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
• Analyze financial statement trends and provide insights to management.
• Generate grant invoices and reporting to support funding requirements.
• Assist in financial audit preparations and support compliance efforts.
• Develop and update accounting policies and procedures to enhance controls and efficiencies.
