About The Position

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the global accounting operations of the international biotech manufacturing corporation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with Accounting major
• 5-7 years' experience in the Accounting/Business field
• Prior accounting experience in a global manufacturing organization
• Proficient in ERP environments, specifically Syteline
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to organize work and engage in a variety of tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work ethic that exudes integrity, accountability, and professionalism
• Strong understanding of GAAP

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Receivable process including multi-faceted invoicing across various currencies
• Oversight and administration of global collections and cash applications
• Participate in the month-end close assisting with revenue recognition and preparing appropriate journal entries
• Maintain responsibility for the preparation and analysis of all Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
• Prepare various general ledger account analyses to ensure accurate account activity and financial projections
• Assist as needed with year-end financial audit and tax return preparation process
• Proactively lead projects related to process improvement and system upgrades
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Execute other tasks as assigned
• Ability to travel when required
