The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Financial Services team at our Central Office in Salem. In this vital role, you will lead the agency's fiscal year-end accounting and reporting processes, including oversight of government bonds and the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards. You will also provide expert-level review of work performed by accounting professionals to ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, DAS standards, and the Oregon Accounting Manual. As a senior team member, you'll guide and mentor staff, support policy and system development, and play a key role in preparing comprehensive financial statements and agency reports. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of complex financial accounting systems, demonstrates proficiency with the Statewide Financial Management Application (SFMA), and applies an equity lens to all aspects of their work.
