About The Position

Elevate Solutions Group is a rapidly growing contract manufacturer, providing Custom Plastic Injection Molding and Integrated Supply Chain solutions. Located just outside the Atlanta Metro area (Austell), the company has evolved into an industry leader with state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to offer extensive support to the company Controller in all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, audit, and tax functions. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting and financial management. This is an onsite role, and candidates must live within a reasonable distance from Austell, GA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Solid Balance Sheet reconciliation skills
  • Highly organized and acute attention to detail
  • Proficiency with ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI or any other business intelligence/reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • CPA Certification
  • 2+ years of exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting
  • Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks
  • Previous work within an Injection Molding company

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and various regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and actionable insights.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations, including all bank accounts, inventory, receivables, prepaids, payables, loan balances, etc.
  • Maintain Fixed Asset balances and depreciation schedules.
  • Formulate, implement, and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial information.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as needed for financial transactions and reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing meaningful financial guidance.
