About this role: We are looking for a Senior Accountant to provide world-class accounting and bookkeeping support to high-growth SaaS and services companies. In this role, you'll be a hands-on partner to team members at dynamic software and services companies.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in accounting with SaaS or services company experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles including revenue recognition
• Desire to build out and improve internal processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Experience running payroll and employee onboarding to various systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and ability to learn new technology quickly
• Strong analytical skills
• You’re organized and demonstrate a high attention to detail and accuracy
• You’re self-motivated and like to take ownership of new projects
• You love working with numbers and helping people

Nice To Haves

• CPA is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Lead monthly close process, analysis, and reporting
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly
• Assist with tax compliance and filings
• Run payroll for customers
• Monitor cash flow and expense management
• Assist in setting budgets and financial forecasts
• Manage relationships with external vendors and tax accountants
