About The Position

NxEdge, an Enpro company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for a dynamic, advanced manufacturing environment. The Senior Accountant will manage general ledger activities, monthly and quarterly close processes, account reconciliations, and compliance requirements for a publicly traded company. The position also involves supporting audits, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating across departments to drive efficiency and excellence. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting principles.
Experience with ERP systems and consolidation software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
public accounting or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
OneStream experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly close activities, including recurring and non-recurring journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
Maintain accurate P&L and balance sheet accounts across multiple entities.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany transactions.
Upload and maintain ledgers in the company-wide consolidation module (OneStream).
Support quarterly and annual internal and external audits.
Prepare quarter-end and year-end reporting packages to support SEC reporting.
Participate in compliance activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and quarterly analytics.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency, including RPA initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve workflows.
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
