About The Position

Our company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role operates in a fast-paced environment where they will perform duties and responsibilities to ensure that the company's financial records are properly documented and recorded on a timely basis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-4 years of accounting experience
Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
Strong PC skills with proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments. Good time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; will be expected to work closely with other departments to gather necessary information
Ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, display initiative and exercise good judgment

Responsibilities

Developing and recording journal entries for several multi million dollar business units, including both revenue and cost entries
Analyzing monthly sales and expense variations to budget
Assisting in annual budget process
Analyzing and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Preparation of indirect tax returns
Assisting with quarterly and annual financial audit requests, both internal and external
Ad hoc projects, as necessary
