About The Position

NOW CFO is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of a private, growth-oriented client based in Irvine, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting monthly close, reporting, and compliance activities. This position will work closely with leadership and external partners and is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience
• Proven general ledger and reconciliation expertise
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• Public accounting experience
• Basic tax knowledge or prior tax support experience

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including A/R, A/P, and bank activity
• Maintain the general ledger and perform regular reconciliations
• Process payroll, invoices, and vendor payments
• Prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports
• Support audits and tax preparation with external accountants
• Work across multiple entities as needed
• Serve as a liaison with auditors and external advisors
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
