About The Position

This position is responsible for month-end closing (journal entries, reconciliations, reports), and account analysis. This person must be able to work independently and with little supervision.

Requirements

• Able to meet deadlines given with accurate and complete information
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing programs
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in use of Microsoft Word
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
• 5 or more years as Senior Accountant in a medium to large sized organization
• GAAP and IFRS experience are preferred

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred
• QAD or another ERP experience a plus
• Experience in QAD and/or OneStream a plus, prior experience in AR and metal accounting preferred
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)
• Prepare and/or review monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Consolidation and management reporting
• Interact with internal and external auditors and assist with related deliverables
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for quarterly audits
• Responsible for Chart of Accounts maintenance in general ledger and reconciliation system
• Prepare Mexico and Canada entries in compliance with GAAP and IFRS requirements
• Prepare Lease accounting schedules and entries in compliance with GAAP and IFRS
• Works closely with Staff Accountants and FP&A department
