Accountant I Position Overview The accountant I is responsible for supporting the financial integrity of the organization through accurate reporting, analysis, and process ownership. The accountant I will partner closely with Finance leadership and cross functional teams to ensure financial processes align with company growth and field execution. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical accounting strength and a proactive mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1-5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of fixed assets preferred
  • ERP system experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancieswhen necessary
  • Review monthly SG&A expenses and provide variance explanations
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation
  • Support audit preparation and external reporting needs
  • Monitor and improve accounting processes and workflows
