About The Position

Th is strong and experienced Senior Accountant is a mid-level professional capable of fulfilling the project accounting and construction accounting of multiple mid to large- sized affordable housing projects while closely working with our JV Partners and internal development and finance teams and also overseeing and developing junior level accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Produce s and/or review s timely and accurat ely construction requisitions/draw s
• Manage s monthly closings of affordable housing project s
• Prepare s and review s year-end audit packages of affordable housing project s
• Work s with auditors to resolve open items and overall communications
• Develop s and maintain s positive professional relationships both internally & externally
• Train s and mentor s Associate a ccountants
