Our cost-effective, plug-and-play products empower plants of all sizes to conduct predictive and preventative maintenance on mission-critical and secondary equipment in order to maximize uptime. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in technology or consulting
  • Exposure to a multi-book and multi-currency reporting environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 830, and ASC 810
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and reconcile key general ledger accounts, including accrued liabilities, prepaids, payroll, warranty reserves, and other miscellaneous accounts.
  • Ensure proper cutoff, completeness, and accuracy of period-end balances.
  • Record revenue accruals based on sales activity, contract terms, and delivery/performance obligations.
  • Support compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, ensuring accurate timing of revenue and alignment with supporting documentation.
  • Perform monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis across revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Identify key drivers of variances and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for management.
  • Partner with FP&A, operations, and departmental leaders to validate variances and align corrective actions.
  • Prepare variance commentary for monthly financial packages, board reports, and executive dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain standardized variance analysis templates to improve consistency and reporting quality.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and support elimination of entries during the monthly consolidation process in accordance with ASC 810.
  • Coordinate with domestic and international subsidiaries to resolve discrepancies and improve the intercompany process.
  • Maintain and update the company’s lease portfolio in accordance with ASC 842.
  • Record monthly ROU amortization, interest, and lease liability activity while ensuring completeness of new and modified leases.
  • Prepare audit and tax workpapers and provide required documentation to external service providers.
  • Assist in responding to audit & tax inquiries, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely completion.
  • Support system enhancements and cross-departmental initiatives that strengthen reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across general ledgers, subledgers, and supporting systems.
  • Validate transactional data, journal entries, and account balances to prevent errors and misstatements
  • Assist in designing, documenting, and implementing internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
