About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage all accounting activities for specific cost centers. This role involves preparing and reconciling financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance, participating in the annual budget process, and supporting management decisions through financial analysis. The Senior Accountant will also ensure proper internal accounting controls, assist with year-end audits, and provide leadership and training to staff accountants. This is a 100% remote, full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during corporate hours.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business
Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience

Nice To Haves

CPA/CMA
Public accounting experience
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience

Responsibilities

Prepares monthly financial statements with integrity, ensuring GAAP compliance
Performs timely general ledger entries and month-end close
Performs timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Participates in annual budget process
Ensures proper internal accounting controls
Assists in year-end audits
Provides leadership and training for staff accountants
Analyzes financial information, determines trends, and communicates findings to senior management
Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned
