About The Position

This position is directly responsible for aiding the Controller in accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements

• Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and communication
• Strong ability to adapt and willing to take on new projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• 1-3 years accounting work experience

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred
• Public Accounting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Generate and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and/or review manual and automated journal entries
• Oversee Fixed Assets Accounting, ensuring accurate recording, tracking and reconciliation
• Work directly with Controller and upper management on financial projects and ad hoc tasks.
• Collaborate with External auditors during audit process.
• Assist in ASC 842 lease accounting maintenance and reporting
• Conduct detailed reviews of balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned.
