This position will support the day-to-day financial functions including oversight, audit, and internal control review. The Financial Analyst reports directly to the CFO.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
5-8 years of experience required
Demonstrated experience managing data analysis, AP, GL, and payroll
Must be detail-oriented and precise.
Proficient with Excel, Word, and ERP systems
Ability to pass all required background checks

Nice To Haves

Experience with Sage Intacct preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain internal controls and safeguards for revenue recognition, costs, program budgets and expenditures.
Maintain files for audit and state-requirement purposes
Consistently analyze financial data and build accurate and timely financials.
Assist CFO in the annual planning and budget process
Assist CFO in the annual cost report process
Prepare/review account reconciliations
Maintain and formalize accounting policies and procedures
Communicate with internal leaders as needed to educate and support good financial decisions
Serve as backup for other positions
Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required
