About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Accountant performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Conduct or helps document accounting projects. The Senior Accountant work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Accountant prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments. Responsible for the accounting of the business' revenue and claims each month and Revenue cycle reporting and reconciliations for the business. Prepare financial data, transactions and reports, including ad-hoc data requests for executive leadership. Partner with Health Care Provider Payment Platforms to ensure proper load of financial terms included within contractual arrangements and validation of quarterly settlements Develop methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing financial data and preparing complex analyses. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
  • 2 - 5 years of experience with SQL, Access, or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • Certified Public Accountant license
  • Previous healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with Essbase/Smartview
  • Knowledge of Service Fund Reporting
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL applications
