Controlled Contamination Services (Controlled) has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services since 1993, serving clients in the Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense, and Aerospace industries. The company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in this growing services firm.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
2-5 years of experience in either public or GL/cost accounting
Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting Software
Highly proficient in Excel
ERP experience required
Excellent communication skills
Customer Service Skills
Initiative Skills
Problem Solving Skills

Nice To Haves

CPA or MBA a plus
Great Plains/Acumatica ERP experience a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the month-end close process to include review of accruals and journal entries prepared by others
Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Executive team
Ensure adherence with GAAP in all financial reporting
Mentor Staff and assist in training as needed
Bank reconciliations and insight as needed
Assist in yearly external audit as well as tax filings
Completes variance analysis where necessary to provide insight into company, region, or customer-level financial data
All other duties as defined by your supervisor
