About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
- Experience with collections and credit management processes.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Accountant will execute month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Manage fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
