We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team! Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area's most vulnerable populations in the Clark and Madison County areas. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Financial Controller and is responsible for the oversight of daily financial transactions, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, applying appropriate accounting controls and procedures, assisting with grant activity/reporting, and complying with Federal grant management guidelines. Major responsibilities include general accounting, budgeting and audit preparation, oversight of accounts payable and receipts, and reviewing payroll financial activity. The primary role includes maintaining the general ledger, overall grants management, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all company accounting tasks. The Senior Accountant will oversee the activities of the Finance Assistant and Payroll Specialist. In addition, the Senior Accountant is a backup to various job functions of finance positions as needed.
