Requirements

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable or related financial operations; construction or equipment rental industry experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree required, CPA a plus.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of GAAP.
Experience in process improvement and development of Standard Operating Procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); Sage 100 and ERP systems (Point of Rental, Rental Man) preferred.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

construction or equipment rental industry experience preferred.
CPA a plus.
Sage 100 and ERP systems (Point of Rental, Rental Man) preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the company.
Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements and profit and loss statements.
Maintain the general ledger.
Recording the cost, depreciation, and disposition of tangible and intangible fixed assets.
Reconciliation of all accounts and monitor accounts receivable.
File tax forms with federal, state and local government agencies.
Provide outside auditor assistance.
