About The Position

Come join our Finance team as the Senior Accountant, in our Savannah, GA office. You will enjoy excellent benefits, including a matching 401K, exciting work and a great team environment! The Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting functions, including but not limited to, preparing accurate and timely accounting information, performing various reconciliations and analysis, and providing ongoing support to team members and various departments. This position is a hybrid role requiring coming to our Savannah office 2 days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a CPA preferred.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Knowledgeable in U.S. generally accepted accounting principles
• High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions
• Assist in performing various accounting functions, including but not limited to, customer invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, G/L journal entries, financial reporting, etc.
• Prepare account reconciliations and analysis
• Perform monthly close processes and monthly financial reporting
• Support financial audits; prepare schedules and provide documentation
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Monitor internal controls
• Maintain documentation of accounting processes
