About The Position

Avalon Health Care Management, Inc. is now hiring a Senior Accountant to join our outstanding team in Salt Lake City! The Senior Accountant works to complete the month end financial close, balance sheet account reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, tracking and resolving facility cash deposit discrepancies, and corresponding with various facilities to ensure expense accounting is in accordance with GAAP. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS) from an accredited 4-year university/college in accounting
• Experience with the Microsoft Business Central (preferred)
• Extremely proficient with Excel
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with MAS500 a bonus
• Experience dealing with external auditors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the Company organization

Responsibilities

• Process improvement and automation
• Develop time saving applications to allow more time for analysis
• Provide support for existing accounting applications and processes
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation for the accounting processes
• Monitor and report on accounting application development initiatives
• Preparation of Ad Hoc reports for management
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
