About The Position

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to take ownership of revenue accounting processes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You will manage the end-to-end revenue accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606 standards. The position provides exposure to audit preparation, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with finance and operations teams. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and supporting critical business decisions with insightful analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with revenue recognition experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with ASC 606 is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP accounting software (experience with NetSuite is advantageous).
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential matters and work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Record journal entries and transactions in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes by preparing reconciliations, workpapers, and analyses.
  • Assist in evaluating revenue accounting treatments for one-off or complex cases to ensure proper accounting standards are applied.
  • Manage quarterly Service Level Agreement processes, including communication with operations, journal entries, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, analyzing variances to maintain accuracy.
  • Provide supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve revenue processes, update SOPs, and complete ad-hoc finance projects.
