About The Position

The Senior Accountant, Revenue Assurance is responsible for global revenue recognition oversight and strategy across a diversified product portfolio, including SaaS (subscription and usage-based models), professional services, and perpetual license offerings. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable revenue processes while supporting the company’s growth objectives. The position leads the review and approval of complex revenue arrangements, including multi-element contracts and non-standard commercial terms, ensuring full compliance with ASC 606. As a trusted business partner, the Senior Accountant collaborates closely with Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Deal Desk, and other cross-functional teams to provide guidance on deal structuring and the financial implications of customer contracts. This role operates within a global environment, working with teams across multiple regions to drive operational consistency, improve processes, and enable predictable and profitable growth.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of revenue compliance and/or revenue recognition experience.
  • Experience in enterprise-level deal structuring.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience working in partnership with business groups (e.g., Sales, Product, Legal).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, interpersonal and analytical/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in discussions with Sales, Pricing, and Product Leaders to provide a financial perspective regarding complex contracts; recommend solutions to ensure product offerings, pricing, terms, performance obligations, etc. are structured to the mutual advantage of the Customer and Sprinklr.
  • Perform a detailed review and analysis of Master Agreements and Contracts to ensure documentation requirements are met and revenue is properly recorded.
  • Support global revenue manager with analysis and intelligence on our customer contracts and the associated revenue recognition.
  • Provide guidance to the order entry team to ensure customer contracts are recorded accurately
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities ensuring accurate results are delivered timely for reporting in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of global revenue process controls.
  • Review and maintain documentation for all compliance work completed.
