Senior Accountant, Private Equity/Senior Fund Accountant
About The Position
Senior Staff Accountant will report to the Financial Reporting Manager </p> Recording of all activity for a portfolio of Private Funds and SPVs, which includes responding to ad -hoc investor and client requests. </p> Preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP (and perhaps other reporting standards such as IFRS and UK/Lux GAAP). </p> Researching accounting guidance as necessary to ensure correct recording of complex transactions </p> Liaising with client auditors and tax preparers and responding to requests for information. </p> Managing client relationships including responding to client requests </p> Preparation of investor reporting including calculations of investor and fund performance. </p> Participating in office wide projects that focus on improving efficiency or enhancing internal controls </p> Working with technology team on testing of new system functionality or reports </p> Coaching of more junior members of staff on routine tasks including performing detailed reviews of work prepared.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics required.
- Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of public accounting and/or investment, real estate investment, fund accounting experience
