About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and take ownership of key accounting functions, including payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a growing organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with payroll systems and general ledger software.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Concur, Tipalti preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Process and reconcile payroll, accounts payable, and travel & entertainment reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and support audit and tax preparation efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related reporting and compliance.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and payroll functions.
