About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with Mortgage Insurance experience for our client on a project basis. This role is fully remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 3+ years of relevant insurance experience
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly premium tax payable accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare premium tax estimates and returns for filing across applicable jurisdictions.
• Draft and support statutory quarterly and annual statement notes and interrogatories.
• Perform account reconciliations to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet regulatory deadlines and maintain data integrity.
