We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Internal Reporting department to support the consolidation of monthly financials, the preparation of internal reports for management, and the coordination of internal and external audit requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • 3+ years comparable work experience
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Experience in working with foreign currency exchange rates
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review entries completed by staff accountant for late adjusting entries and restricted account entries
  • Complete various Balance Sheet roll forwards schedules via BPC system/OneStream to be used by management in monthly/quarterly financial statement review
  • Assist with monthly consolidation by running queries and analyzing financial data
  • Prepare journal entries for various general ledger intercompany accounts requiring monthly/quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet eliminations
  • Research account reconciliation variances in accordance with company accounting policies by coordinating with divisions to confirm information and/or to correct with an adjusting entry
  • Prepare reconciliations for the late adjusting entries companies which are used to provide the divisional finance contacts information regarding late adjusting entries
  • Prepare internal and external audit requests
  • Special projects as requested by management
