This position collaborates closely with both the Utility and Property Accounting teams with dual reporting to the Property Accounting Manager and the Utility Accounting Manager. The position is responsible for the coordination, preparation, and review of regulatory filings and related support activities as they apply to these two teams and as they may impact other departments. The role ensures that all required reports, schedules, and data responses are completed accurately, consistently, and submitted on time to the appropriate Regulatory Affairs department for their ultimate submittal to the respective State Commissions for AGL, CGC, Nicor, and VNG. The role involves compiling and reviewing year end regulatory schedules, gathering and validating supporting data, and coordinating input from multiple individuals and departments to ensure accuracy and meet tight filing deadlines. It also includes leading others through these efforts and may include direct supervision of another team member, including review of work product and guidance on FERC accounting practices. This individual will also assist in responding to data requests from various state regulatory agencies and other stakeholders, maintaining organized documentation and clear communication throughout the process. This role must work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. In office 4 days work environment.
