About The Position

The Senior Accountant I - E-Commerce at Carroll College is responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial transactions and general ledger activities to ensure compliance with accounting principles and college policies. This role involves making general ledger entries, preparing monthly work papers, and coordinating projects to automate processes and implement new technologies. The incumbent will build partnerships across campus and represent the Business Office in e-commerce decisions, including managing marketplace solutions and payment systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus 2 years of progressively responsible work-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial transactions and general ledger account activity.
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and college policies.
• Make appropriate general ledger entries and prepare monthly work papers and schedules.
• Coordinate projects to automate processes and implement new technologies.
• Build partnerships across campus for e-commerce related decisions.
• Manage the design and setup of individual marketplace sites for registration and cash collection needs.
