About The Position

Natus Sensory, Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our Global Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions including journal preparation, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and inter-company account reconciliations. The role requires strong attention to detail, financial analysis, and effective collaboration with the Accounting, Finance teams, and other business departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Senior Accountant position capacity.
• Working proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Oracle preferred or similar is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and provide solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships and foster collaboration.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support profit and loss reporting, perform financial analysis, and assist in variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and provide financial insights.
• Manage and reconcile prepaid expenses, leases, fixed assets, and intangible assets. Ensure accurate amortization and compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify inefficiencies in current accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and speed. Take the initiative in streamlining workflows and adopting best practices.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all relevant entries are posted accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate documentation.
• Provide financial and accounting support to other departments as needed, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
