In this role, you’ll play a key role on our governmental audit team and participate in a wide variety of school district and municipal engagements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • School district, municipality, and single audit experience preferred
  • CPA license or actively pursuing designation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute audits in compliance with GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
  • Research technical accounting and auditing issues; provide technical review support
  • Perform single audits and prepare the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards for various governmental audit clients.
  • Perform school district audits, including limited travel requirements, and general involvement in other governmental engagements.
  • Develop, train, and mentor staff
  • Build and manage client relationships
  • Participate in firm-wide strategic planning and goal setting
